:: SiteMonitor

With SiteMonitor we will send you a report each quarter advising whether or not your domain is in the database of Google and Yahoo!. If it is missing, we register it or take some other action to get your site re-listed.

We initiated this service when we found that some clients 'disappeared' from Google for no obvious reason. So now we offer to keep an eye out to make sure your site is always listed in their databases.

This service is only available to sites hosted with us i.e. Rent-A-Site and SiteCare clients.

SiteMonitor is $9.90 per month.

:: GooglePriority

The aim of this service is to achieve a listing in Google in the first 2 pages of results under your chosen keywords.

This service differs from SiteMonitor in that it includes active optimisation of your website content around carefully chosen keywords. In other words, your site is specifically tailored to rank prominently in Google.

GooglePriority includes:

Use of the “Google Keyword Tool” to identify how many times specific keywords have been searched over in the last month. We will discuss the results with you to determine the most appropriate keywords to optimise your website around.

Optimisation of your website for your primary keyword or phrase. This might require some changes to the content of your site, particularly the text.

Quarterly submission to Google and Yahoo!.

To make us truly accountable, we will email you a report detailing the position of your website in the Google search results each quarter when searching on your chosen keyword or phrase.

We will then make changes to your site and resubmit it until it appears in the first three pages of the Google search results under your chosen keywords. Once it appears there, we will work to maintain your ranking by tweaking your content and establishing links to your site to increase its PageRank.

Again, this service is only available to sites hosted with us i.e. Rent-A-Site and SiteCare clients.

GooglePriority is $18.15 per month.

:: Search Engine Optimization

If you have an existing site and wish to become more prominent in the free listings of the search engines, we can help.

We can examine your site and document the changes we would recommend to improve your site's visibility in the major search engines. This can be a real help if you have the knowledge to make changes to the site itself but are unsure of the best search engines 'tactics'.

Our recommendations will be strictly legitimate means of providing a higher profile - unlike many operators who use 'illegal' means that may one day mean the site is 'blacklisted' - the ultimate tragedy for an online business.

There are two problems we see to achieving success with search engine optimisation:

a. too many 'illegal' methods to improve visibility actually succeed for quite some time. But they are against the explicit advice and intent of the search engines. We want businesses who use our services to remain in the game for the long term. Hence, we won't use questionable methods to improve a site's ranking.

b. particularly for Google, an important criterion for visibility is PageRank of your site. This can only be improved by arranging links with quality sites. Unless you are prepared to do this (or pay for it) success on Google can be difficult to achieve if your category or area of interest is highly competitive.

:: Domain Registration and Renewal

We can register your domain and arrange its timely renewal at the end of two years. The domain is registered in your (business) name, but we help ensure the registration is renewed at the appropriate time.

Besides helping to prevent you sending cheques to frauds (this happens all too frequently), it is one less deadline you have to monitor.

:: Email

We can provide your domain with whatever number of email accounts you require.

We can also arrange for your in-house mailserver to be used in connection with your externally hosted (with us) website.

:: Domain Parking with or without Email

We can arrange for the delegation of a domain to our servers until the time you want to host a site or use it for some other purpose.
